How HiDEA Started: A High Idea and a Candle making kit.

HiDEA started at home, with a few DIY projects and the kind of ideas that show up during a good sesh.

I wanted a spot where my bongs and flower belonged out in the open, not tucked away. So I made myself a "Coffee and Cannabis" bar. It was a little corner of my home that felt like me, and it got me thinking about what else I could create.

From a high idea to HiDEA

That corner became a place to get creative. Before long, I was pouring wax, trying different wicks, and mixing fragrances. Some things worked. Others sent me back to try again. There were months of testing and tweaking before I had candles I was proud to share.

The name HiDEA came from those "high ideas." It made sense for something that grew out of my love for cannabis and making things with my own hands.

Candles for spaces that feel like you

I started HiDEA because I wanted cannabis to feel less like something we have to hide. For me, that meant making candles that fit into the spaces where we relax, spend time with friends, and enjoy a sesh.

Today, HiDEA is my small, women-led soy wax candle business. I make candles in small batches, and I’m proud of how far this little idea has come.
